eeny, meeny, miny, moe...

For some strange reason I find it easier to write in English. I might be able to describe things more accurately in Finnish, and my English isn't absolutely perfect, but I can't change the fact that Finnish feels .. awkward. (Surprise surprise.) It may not stay that way, but I'm still thinking about having a blog in English only.. So, just to see how it feels like, I'm going to show you one of my quickmakes without using Finnish. Sorry guys. :)

Quickmakes are sometimes my favourites. They're very handy when you have to make a card in a hurry, and if you come up with (or find) a pretty design, it won't even look like a quickmake. Here's one of my favourite quickmakes that just arrived to its new owner:

I stamped and coloured the image of three little mice enjoying a birthday cupcake. Margaret Sherry is one of my favourite designers, her Penny Black stamp collections are the sweetest ever!

The tag has been attached with foam pads, to create a 3D effect. You can't really see it from here, but the card is quite small; less than 10cm x 10cm. Definitely a quickmake, you can't spend too much time on decorating the card if you have a limited space!

The card I've been working on with these last few days is a pink ballerina card, a birthday card to a little German girl :) I should be able to post some pictures of it soon!
