Tähänastisen elämäni toiseksi tai kolmanneksi suurin korttiprojekti. :D Kortteja piti tehdä 40kpl, minkä vuoksi niihin kului aikaa kaikenkaikkiaan ehkä pari kuukautta, huolimatta siitä että yritin tehdä niistä mahdollisimman yksinkertaisia. Kaksi kuukautta on kyllä pitkä aika, loppua kohden korteille tuli tavallaan sokeaksi - tuli katseltua niitä ihan liikaa!

It's official! I'm graduating from high school next Saturday. And for a big celebration like that, proper invitations are needed. :) Making 40 invitations took me about two months altogether, even though I tried to make everything as simple as possible. But a lot of things can happen inside two months! For example my precious double-sided tape (that has never failed me) ran out, and the store where I could get it stopped selling it. Instead they had this new kind of tape, which turned out to be a complete disaster! It couldn't even hold two pieces of paper together, let alone photographs and ribbons! And about a week after I was finished with the cards, the tape became visible, you could see it clearly under the piece of paper where I wrote my invitation. (Click on the third picture, you might be able to see it.)
But, a long project without drawbacks is not a real project! The good things that come out of it feel even better when you've had some challenges along the way. :) For example, these cards gave us the idea to have a (certain kind of) background music in my party. We got the color theme from these cards, and some ideas about accessories and thank-you-cards, and the funniest thing is that the glossy envelopes match my dress!
The second picture shows how much room I usually needed for my cardmaking, although the picture doesn't show everything and it's still looking pretty organized. Third picture shows the back of the card, and the fourth is how they looked like in the end. Although the quality of these pictures is just awful, especially in the third one! The colors are horrific. I apologize, I don't have the perfect conditions for taking pictures at my house.. The house is super dark.
Anyway, this was my latest project, hope you like it (dispite the bad quality of my photos)! :)
